Learn and Assemble with BEST
Learn and Assemble with BEST (LAB) This event will help you develop creativity and critical thinking skills through working on challenges related to the concept of Smart City. The program combines inspiring workshops led by representatives of both academia and business with teamwork. During the program, you will collaboratively create an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) — a prototype solution addressing a real problem of modern cities.

What does the event look like?
Event structure
Each day begins with approximately two-hour seminars led by representatives of academia and industry, providing participants with a solid theoretical foundation. The knowledge gained is then applied during four hours of hands-on work on tasks related to the topic.
Evaluation of projects (MVP)
On the final day, each team will present a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) — a prototype addressing Smart City challenges. The MVP, which summarizes the teams’ work, will be evaluated by a panel of judges who will select the best solutions.
You will build connections with people from all over Europe.
During the event, you will take part in meetings with around 30 people from various European countries. In addition to gaining new skills, it will also be a space to meet new people and build international connections, which often develop into long-term relationships. Joint work, workshops, and daily interactions encourage getting to know each other better, while the presence of people with different experiences and cultures brings fresh perspectives and inspires new ways of thinking.
