Who we are?
BEST AGH Kraków to oddział międzynarodowej organizacji BEST zrzeszającej studentów z 28 krajów z całej Europy. Od ponad 30 lat tworzymy w Krakowie projekty takie jak targi pracy, konkursy inżynierskie, kursy naukowe, czy szkolenia, mające na celu rozwój studentów i zacieśnianie relacji między nimi, firmami i uczelnią.

How can you grow with us?
College is the perfect time to try new things and gain skills you won’t learn in the classroom. You don’t need any prior experience - we’ll teach you everything from scratch! There’s a place for everyone in our projects. Find out in which role you want to take your first (or next!) professional steps!
Coordinator
Your job will be to manage the budget and schedule and bring together a team that will work together to organize an unforgettable project!
Promotion
He is responsible for the marketing strategy, writing catchy copy, creating videos and TikTok content, and handling media relations.
Logistics
He is responsible for room reservations,
transportation, technical support, equipment, and… food for the participants.
Human Resources
Here, you'll learn how to build cohesive teams and resolve conflicts in real-world situations, and you'll also interact with the participants in our projects.
Graphics Design
In this role, you’ll design social media content, posters, visual identities for contests, and BEST’s iconic sweatshirts and merchandise.
Content Responsible
She is responsible for the technical aspects of the project - she selects the topics for engineering projects in competitions and works out the technical details of the workshops.
Fundraising
A fundraiser serves as a bridge between the student community and the business world. They meet with company representatives to secure sponsors and strategic partners for our projects.
Animation
In this role, you’re responsible for what happens outside of official lecture and competition hours. You design iconic city games, plan evening events and outings, and make sure that participants (often from all over Europe!) have an unforgettable experience.
Teaching Methods
You are responsible for liaising with AGH’s faculty and laboratories, scheduling lectures, and overseeing the learning process.

Do you have questions? Not sure where to start? Don't worry! Every new member is assigned a mentor right from the start - an experienced Bestie who will help you get settled into life at the Association.

Recruitment stages
Survey
In each recruitment, we prepare a few questions to get to know you better, to find out what you are interested in. Let us know what drives you, motivates you to act and what you dream about. Be yourself!
Assessment Center
Its main purpose is to observe whether you like working in a group and how you handle unusual situations. After it is over, everyone is invited to a student integration, during which we make new friends and get to know each other from a different side.
Interview
This is a great opportunity to make sure you find your way into our Association and can grow with us. During the interview, you can ask us questions that are bothering you, which will help make sure you want to join us.
Integration
Motivational Day (MD)
During the Motivational Day you will learn more about BEST, learn about the structure of the organization and we will introduce you in detail to the projects we are developing. In the afternoon there will be a City Game for you - new members, and in the evening you will have a nice time together with members of our Association.
Team-building trip
It's a weekend training and integration trip. You will have the opportunity to participate in several interesting trainings interspersed with a lot of integration!

Every student at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.
Unfortunately, no - only AGH students can become members of BEST AGH Kraków.
We hold recruitment drives twice a year - in the fall and in the spring. In the meantime, we encourage you to follow us on social media to learn more about what we do!
Members are selected through a three-step process - first, we select a group of people based on their answers to the questions on the form; next, they go through an Assessment Center, where we primarily evaluate their teamwork skills; and the final step is an interview, which helps us determine even more clearly whether you’ll be a good fit for the Association. When filling out the form, don’t let your assumptions about what we want to hear influence your answers - just be yourself!

No, membership is completely free.
Sure! You decide how much time you want to devote to your work at BEST. By being active in the Association while also studying, you'll quickly learn to manage your time even better.
No! The vast majority of people start from scratch! When you join us, we’ll assign you a mentor - a more experienced BEST member who will support you every step of the way and answer any questions you may have. Additionally, whenever you take on a role in a project, you’ll first undergo training to gain the necessary knowledge. You can also always count on help from other BEST members.
BEST AGH Kraków has an office at DS-Alfa. That’s where we can get to know each other during the recruitment process at meetings and team-building activities - you can find more information about these on our social media.

Yes, every new member is assigned a mentor who helps them find their way in this new community. It’s normal to have a lot of questions at first, and that’s exactly what your mentor is there for - to provide you with answers and support.
No, if you don't feel confident speaking English, don't worry - not all projects require knowledge of the language. However, if you want to change that, you have the opportunity to work on your English, for example, by participating in international trips.
Don't worry, mistakes happen and are a natural part of learning! You can always count on help from other Beściaki - remember, we all share a common goal; we're here to learn and grow.
No! You can try your hand at different roles and different projects. By working at Best, you’ll learn a lot about organizing events, but also about what kind of work suits you best.
You can expect a response in about 3-5 days. The order doesn't matter, so don't worry if your friends received the email first.
No, as a BEST member, you have the chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at the competitions - for example, by helping out at an event to make sure everything runs smoothly.
