BITEhack

BITEhack, namely BEST IT Extended Hackathon, is a 24-hour event that brings together automation and robotics, programming and design enthusiasts. In the 24-hour marathon, participants have the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity while solving contemporary problems based on modern technologies. The main goal of the project is to enable students of the AGH University of Science and Technology to use their knowledge to measure themselves against challenges in education, science, and industry. Every year we try to make the project a response to the needs of both students and employers.

Categories of the competition

Classic

It involves creating an application that solves a given problem in a technology chosen by the team.

Robotic

Participants create a technology concept using parts provided by a Technical Partner.

Game Jam

Its goal is to create a unique and creative game design.

How are the works evaluated?

The results of the 24-hour work are evaluated by jury, which includes professors of the AGH University of Science and Technology and representatives of the event's partners. During the event, those taking part had the constant assistance of mentors from partner companies, who were happy to support with technical advice. Also very popular was the speed recruitment organized in cooperation with the Main Partner of the event.
